Picnic
-Pack your picnic baskets, food, drinks, fire wood, firelighters, braai tools. The boma is not fenced so as to provide you with a closer bush encounter.
- Have a braai at night and experience the night animals and birds like owls, while gazing at the beautiful stars.
Jakkelsroep have a designated picnic area with Lapa (table and 4 chairs) with the most beautiful sunsets. We also prepare a picnic platter on request (pre- bookings essential)

Braai
Time to relax
Experience the wood sparkles while under the cosmos of stars after the sun went to sleep.
All units as well as the camping area do have braai facilities, day visitors can enjoy the boma area, ablution and electricity available. Two Lapas each with a table and 4 chairs.
Self Drive / Walk or Cycle thru the bush camp
- Take your self-drive route map and drive thru while looking out for animals, there are also shy animals like ant-eaters, rabbits, owls, wild cats.
- Put on your walking shoes and hat to experience the bush at its best, the road is carefully planned so even elderly can enjoy the walk!
- Take the road on with your off road bicycle breathing in fresh air, something to do for the entire family.
@ 28ha of fenced land with animals like Nyala, Blesbok, Impala, Zebra, Ostrich and other small breeds.
Cool off
Both Units have a splash pool overlooking the beautiful bushveld. The Camping area have his own private pool in the middle of the bush.
Day visitors can also enjoy an outdoor experience in beautiful indigenous bushveld that will help you relax and spend quality time with friends and family.
